Sculptural 18th century Italian figure of Christ on brown fossil coral adorned with smoky quartz crystals and mounted on a polished agate base.. The figure of Christ was originally part of a crucifix from a church in Tuscany.
The smoky quartz replaces the arms on the figure of Christ as the original arms had broken off due to age and distress. Together the elements create a figurative, contemporary work of historic significance.
