18th century Italian cross adorned with smoky quartz crystals from Madagascar and druzy petrified wood from the United States. The smoky quartz crystals emulate a figure of Christ on the cross. It is mounted on a smoky quartz crystal cluster. The cross has been transformed with the natural elements to create an organic and historic work of art.
This piece is currently exhibiting in the Museo de' Medici as part of The Crucifix Collection.
